Camo has no accounts. There is no name, no email address, no password, and nothing collected that identifies you personally. This page describes exactly what is stored, which is deliberately very little.

What is stored

• An anonymous ID for your device. It is derived on the server from a random key generated on your device the first time you open the app. It is not your device's advertising identifier, and it is not linked to you.
• The challenges you make — the scene you chose, where the figure was placed, and the drawing itself.
• A record of gameplay — that a challenge was opened, started, found or given up on, and how long it took. This is what tells us whether the game works.
• Reports and blocks, if you report a drawing or block someone.

Who can see a challenge you make

By default, only people you send the link to. A challenge is not listed anywhere and is not shown to anyone else.

There is one switch that changes this, and it is off unless you turn it on. On the screen where you get your link, and again under Your hides, you can choose to let anyone find this one. That adds the challenge to the pool used by Find a hidden rabbit, so players who were never sent your link can try it. You can turn it back off at any time, which removes it from that pool immediately.

Challenges made before this switch existed were never added to the pool.

What is not stored

No contact information, no location, no contacts, no photos from your device, no browsing or search history, and no health or financial information. Camo does not ask for any of it.

Ads

Ads between rounds are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to make them relevant. On iOS you are asked before that happens; declining keeps the ads and makes them less targeted. Google's handling of that data is covered by Google's policy.

Buying Remove Ads stops them permanently. That purchase is handled by Apple or Google and processed through RevenueCat; Camo never sees your payment details.

Children

Camo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them. Because players draw and share pictures with each other, the app is rated for teens and up.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Your data from the home screen and tap Delete my data. This removes your device's record, your challenges and the drawings in them, and any reports or blocks you made. Links you have already shared stop working for everyone.

Gameplay records are kept but are permanently disconnected from your device, so they no longer refer to you. This is deliberate: removing them outright would retroactively change counts already reported for past periods, and those counts describe the game rather than any person.

Your device is also given a brand new anonymous ID, so nothing you do afterwards is connected to what came before. If you had bought Remove Ads, use Restore purchase — it belongs to your store account, not to the ID that was deleted.

Other people's drawings

A challenge you open is either one somebody sent you, one whose creator chose to let anyone find it, or one made by Camo itself so that Find a hidden rabbit works before enough players have opted in. If you see something that should not be there, use Report this drawing on the screen where you found it. Reporting also hides that person's challenges from you. Reported drawings are reviewed and removed if warranted.
